MEISJES VAN VENUS was a fun tour with Singer and master performer Juan Carlos Tajes,A whole program of tango solely about Women. All texts in dutch, tanslated by Sophie and Juan.
A great experience for a string quartet to play in the Ziggo Dome accompanying BLØF and their guests!
ÁNIBAL & ASTOR​
With actor/singer Frans van Deursen as our guest, we played a musical monologue about the realationship between Astor Piazzolla and his mentor Ánibal Trollo. Script by Marjolein Bierens, Director Peter de Baan, Arrangements/composition by Sophie de Rijk. A very special project, being the first interdisciplinary. It was awesome.

CUERDAS CON FUEYE
Very special to have Victor Hugo Villena as our Guest on Bandoneon, we played two seasons in dutch theaters. It was a great and inspiring time! He is a great musician. Our CD is available now.
THÉ LAU
With Thé Lau we played several fantastic tours and recorded cd's, including his last one Platina Blues. It was a great honour and pleasure to work with Thé. With his passing we have lost a true and inspiring friend. We are thankful for our friendship and for all the great projects we've done together.
Ibrahim Ferrer
We were very fortunate to have the chance to accompany Ibrahim Ferrer at the North Sea Jazz festival in The Hague. A Month later he passed away.
